    Pros:
    • Construction
    • Protection
    Cons:
    • Very tight fit at closure
This is a Seahorse Model 300 case (www.seahorse.net). The build appears to be very good, and seems to seal contents very well. It comes with all foam inserts you need to configure your case to whatever you want to hold inside it. I am able to shape the foam to hold the Pro Ear Pro Tac Gold, two extra CR123 batteries, and the stereo audio cable with very little room to spare. The foam that fits in the "lid" of the case detaches, and I have placed the Pro Ears instructions and paperwork Ear behind it. After you have shaped the foam and placed the Pro Ear inside the case as shown in the illustrations, you will find that closing the case is slightly difficult; it's a very tight fit during closure. I worry about damage to the Pro Ear (especially the bracket that holds the actual muffs), but so far there does not seem to be any evidence of damage to the Pro Ear. I figure it must be ok if this was recommended by Pro Ears, right? After making such a large investment in your ear protection, I think spending a little extra to protect it is money well-spent.
