The Ultra Series Advantage is the great comfort and noise attenuation with a Pro Ears Warranty

When situational awareness is not as essential to mission accomplishment. A great pair of passive ear muffs are the most effective means to protect your hearing. Ear plugs can be effective only if they are properly inserted in the ear. Very often, due to discomfort or improper training the ear plug does not provide the level of protection advertised. A comfortable, well designed pair of ear muffs can protect your hearing for years to come.

So comfortable you won't mind wearing these earmuffs all day. With ProForm? leather ear cushions and soft flexible headbands the Ultra Series passive ear muffs are the most comfortable ear muff in the market today.

Don't over protect Too much protection can be unsafe as critical communication cues cannot be heard. Selecting the proper level of noise attenuation to protect your hearing while not over protecting is made easy with the three levels of protection offered by the Ultra Series.

Our reliability gives you the confidence to be your best. We believe in our passive earmuffs so much we have provided the longest, most comprehensive warranty in the industry. The NRR is independently tested and certified. All Ultra Series products are dielectric construction.

No matter what Pro Ears model you prefer, electronic or passive, ReVO or regular, a proper fit is CRITICAL for good sound attenuation.

The headband may be adjusted to ensure the cups fit correctly around the ears by sliding the headband apart. With the slider arms fully closed place the headband directly in the middle of the head. Slowly adjust one slider arm at a time as needed to ensure each cup is fully covering your ear. The ear lobe should not interfere with the seal between the cup ear seal and the skull.  The two slider arms should be equidistant from the headband to ensure the best fit. Be sure the headband is resting snuggly against the top of your head.

The special, replaceable ProForm(tm) Leather ears seals are made for maximum comfort and noise protection. There should be no gaps between the ear seal and your head. For best fit ensure your hair, hat, glasses or earrings are not under the ear seal- anything to create a gap or leak will lessen the attenuation by allowing sound to "get in". To test for a good seal, run your index finger around the area between the ear seal and your skull and ensure there are no gaps.  Pay particular attention to the space at the lower back portion of the ear as this area is most susceptible to improper fit.

Remember, hearing protectors come in different shapes and sizes and not all hearing protection units fits all heads. Be sure to have a proper fit before noise exposure.
